First Friday Art Walk
Oceanside First Friday Art Walk has been operated under new management from the Oceanside Friends of the Arts, and has seen increasing growth in attendance and local/regional participating artists for the events that run monthly from March to December. Oceanside Friends of the Arts raises funds for scholarships for kids that want to further their education at one of many local arts and culture schools from beginner to advanced. This month’s event will feature approximately 70 artists/vendors with live music from soloist Melody Maker, The Renters and Aki’s Drum Circle by the fire pit. Newly opened Orfila Tasting Room in downtown Oceanside will be providing wine tastings on the balcony and Hello Betty will be serving some of their savory appetizers. The Oceanside Museum of Art (OMA) will also be hosting an “open free admission” from 5:00pm – 8:00pm.
