The Cuong Vu Trio features Vu on trumpet and electronics, Stomu Takeishi on electric bass, and Ted Poor on drums. Grammy-winner Vu is widely recognized by jazz critics as a leader of a generation of innovative musicians. Vu has lent his talents to a wide range of artists, including Pat Metheny, Laurie Anderson, David Bowie, Dave Douglas, and Myra Melford.
