New Year’s Eve Chef’s Counter
On New Year's Eve, slide into a seat at Fort Oak's chef's counter for one of two seatings where you'll watch executive chef Brad Wise and his culinary team slicing and dicing, grilling meats and composing perfect plates right in front of your eyes. The crackling of the embers and warm glow of the wood-burning fire combined with a fast-paced kitchen action create an exciting backdrop from which you’ll watch the show and enjoy resulting dishes in one delicious experience for sights and senses. The first meeting is at 6 p.m. and features a five-course tasting menu. Only 10 seats are available. The second seating is at 8:30 p.m. and features a five-course tasting menu. Only 10 seats are available. In the main dining room diners can enjoy a 45-day house dry-aged Tomahawk plus Fort Oak’s regular menu of hearth-fired flare including Garlicky Hearth Grilled Prawns with namasu pickles, lime and kimchi aioli; Charred Caulilini with fermented chili aioli, shallot vinaigrette, smoked almonds, currants and herbs; or Baja Striped Bass with brussel sprouts, roasted pear, charcoal turnip, preserved orange and scallop beurre blanc. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on New Year’s Day, Fort Oak will host a dog-friendly New Year’s Day brunch in collaboration with Tito's Vodka. Bring your pups to celebrate 2020 on the patio with brunch specials, celebratory cocktails, dog-friendly treats, and games.
