CA Tree Team Workshop
Do you want to more trees in your community? Join us for a free workshop to learn more about urban forests and what you can do to plant and care for trees! Professional arborists will discuss topics including: soil, photosynthesis, species identification, planting techniques, placement strategy, irrigation, tree diseases and more. This workshop is perfect for tree advocates, home landscapers, and community members who want to learn more! No prior knowledge necessary. Coffee and donuts provided. This workshop is free to all attendees, ages 15+. Community service hours are not available for attending. Workshop attendees are highly encouraged to join us this Fall for our planting day, where we’ll be planting 100 NEW trees in Walker Preserve! The date of the tree planting day is TBD. RSVP Required.
