Trout Fishing Tournament

Cost: $5 - $8
4,500 pounds of rainbow trout will be stocked just prior to the tournament. Prizes are awarded for biggest fish, both daily and for the tourney weekend, with special categories for kids and seniors. Food and refreshments will be available from the Escondido Hidden Valley Kiwanis, along with free kiddie fishing ponds. $5.00 park entry fee, plus fishing or boat permits. (A Calif. fishing license is not required.) The Escondido Senior Anglers serve as the official weigh masters.
