Coffee Tasting & Cold Brew How-To
We'll be sampling some great fair trade, organic, single origin coffees – but with a twist. We'll take the same beans and brew them differently, each variety brewed up as both cold brew and traditional/french press. This will give you are rare chance to taste head to head and see the different flavors that come out of the same coffee bean when brewed differently. We'll serve both brew methods iced and hot. As we work our way through the event we'll cover 3 different origins and each origin is also a different roast. The different roasts/origins when sampled side by side will show the exciting differences you can experience in your coffee by changing up where your coffee is grown and how it is roasted. As we enjoy our coffees we'll also cover how to make cold-brew at home and discuss why we like the cold brew method so much and how it changes the flavor and acidity. Cause decaf shouldn't be criminalized, but rather embraced, let us know when registering if you only drink decaf and we'll make sure we've got choices for you to sample as well. Attendees receive a 10% discount on anything in the store the day of their workshop including our cold brewing equipment and coffee beans.
