BobFest: A Celebration of Bob Dylan
Bob Dylan has had a unique impact on our culture for well over 50 years, and continues to influence people of all ages in a variety of ways through his music, writings, performances and visual art. This celebration of Dylan’s life and work will include a family story time led by singer-songwriter Lisa Sanders, an overview of his visual art by artist Patrick Carney, a panel discussion led by San Diego Union Tribune music writer George Varga, and a concert featuring local musicians playing Dylan songs, including Lisa Sanders, Joe Rathburn, Peggy Watson, Peter Bolland and Cindy Lee Berryhill. All events are free and open to the public, and are presented in community partnership with the San Diego Troubadour with financial support from the Friends of the Encinitas Library.
