Music from the Movies: A Four Hand Piano Concert

With the upcoming Coronado Island Film Festival the following weekend, the Coronado Library will host a four-hand piano concert in the Winn Room with songs from your favorite films played by Elegancia Doble, featuring two talented pianists. Naomi Hobbs is an award winning pianist, arranger and composer who earned her degree in piano performance in Tokyo, Japan. Yumiko Oya received her Master’s Degree in Piano Performance from the California Institute of the Arts and has performed with orchestras, chamber ensembles, and as a soloist. As a piano duo, Elegancia Doble, won first place in the Japan Musician’s Association Piano Competition 2016 in Los Angeles.
