Our next laugh fest highlights the Boys, Stan and Ollie on both sides of the Law, being chased by the Police as well as pursuing the bad guys. Program starts with a classic TEX AVERY Cartoon filled with guffaws. Followed by THE SECOND 100 YEARS (1927) with Stan and Ollie escaping Prison and become part of a Society Party! Next our Guest Comedian is BUSTER KEATON in COPS (1922). Then enjoy a choice of Special Treats at the Break. After Intermission there’s a Very Special Tribute to CHUCK MCCANN who was a founding member of The Sons of the Desert. Next, from the UCLA Film & Television Archives, the rarely seen Gag Reel made for Stan’s Birthday, THAT’S THAT (1937). Our gathering will end on a high note with THE MIDNIGHT PATROL (1933); what could possibly go wrong with Stan and Ollie as Policemen? Expect some surprises, plus 40th Anniversary Saps shirts for $15.
