Botany for Kids Releases Lady Bugs

Botany for Kids has been planting and transforming the garden at the lily pond in the heart of Balboa Park for three and a half years. On May 26 the Fiesta Botanica celebrates the Balboa Park plants and gardens while giving special recognition to the 150 year anniversary of the park founding. The family friendly fiesta will begin with the Fiesta Botanica Wagon Parade on El Prado. As the day continues, there will be horticultural theme lectures and demonstrations, entertainment, tours, plant sales, food vendors and more. Botany for Kids will participate in the Wagon Parade, have a booth and release Lady Bugs.
