Cancer Speaker Series: Dr. Nazneen Aziz
This event is FREE and open to the public! The purpose of this series is to bring together diverse attendees including SDSU and UCSD students, faculty, researchers, alumni, and community partners interested in cancer disparities research. The speaker, Dr. Nazneen Aziz, will be talking about population biobanks and their role in advancing precision medicine. Here is her brief bio: Nazneen Aziz, PhD, is the executive director and the principal investigator of the Kaiser Permanente Research Bank. Dr. Aziz is a molecular geneticist by training and is recognized as a thought leader on the implementation of genomics into routine medical care. She will speak about her career in research and her interest in the translation of scientific discoveries.
