Woven Women: A Discussion with Navajo Weavers

A talk with two generations of Navajo weavers exploring the history and importance of this art form. Fourth-generation Navajo weaver Melissa Cody will be joined by her mother and fellow weaver, Lola Cody. The discussion will consider issues such as the oppressive relationship between the Diné and the trading posts, as well as what is being done to keep this important craft alive.
