Dances with Words
A special performance, combining the unique talents of Union-Tribune syndicated language columnist Richard Lederer with those of folk-singing humorist and composer Bill Shipper.
These two dueling punsters will merge Rich's educational wordfun with Bill’s original music in an unforgettable concert. Richard Lederer is the author of 50 books about language, history, and humor, including his best-selling Anguished English series and his current books, Amazing Words and Lederer on Language. He will be joined for this performance by Bill Shipper of Memphis, Tennessee. With witty songs such as “My Lover Loves Liver” and “Dirty Data” played on folk and country radio around the world, Bill Shipper has been making audiences laugh and sing along for over 30 years.
