Wine Tasting & Kokedama Workshop

Old Julian HWY Ramona, CA 92065 Ticket: $35 ($10 for wine tasting $25 for kokedama making) Collaborating events with Crystal Hill Vineyard and Kodama Forest! Wine and Kokedama! World-class wines from the special soils and Mediterranean climate of Ramona, CA, the vineyard has such a beautiful and peaceful view. Invite your friends, sip your favorite wine and enjoy step-by-step instruction to create your own Kokedama. You will leave home with one-of-a-kind Kokedama. Kokedama is a traditional Japanese art form where moss is used as a container for a plant. In this interesting and hands-on workshop, you will learn the skills behind kokedama how to make your very own kokedama. Led by Kanako Yamada, owner of Kodama Forest. Workshop participants receive: *Wine Tasting (1 white, 4 reds) *Full questions and answers from an expert, about this Japanese art form. All of the supplies needed to make your unique Kokedama, including: a plant, moss, soils, and all other materials needed. (Please bring your apron and grove if you want.) A unique, fun-to-make Kokedama that you can take home and enjoy, or give as a wonderful living gift. Instructor Kanako was trained in Kyoto, Japan, and looks forward to sharing her love of bringing unique and adaptable plant gifting techniques with you.
