Pre-show conversation with Andy Statman: 7:15pm Andy Statman is universally acknowledged as one of the world’s premier mandolin and clarinet players. Performing traditional Jewish music, bluegrass, and Americana on both instruments, Statman is a master of respecting and innovating musical traditions. A GRAMMY nominee, Andy is a recipient of the NEA National Heritage Fellowship, the nation’s highest honor in the traditional arts. He has performed and recorded with an incredible range of artists including the Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, Ricky Skaggs, Béla Fleck, David Grisman, Itzhak Perlman, Vassar Clements, and Stéphane Grappelli.
