Mantras & Meditation
Mantras & Meditation is about combining the spiritual practice of meditation with the proactive and uplifting practice of creating positive mantras for ourselves. As someone who has dealt with on-and-off depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem for the majority of my life, I make it a healthy habit to sit myself down and meditate while I recite and repeat different mantras to myself as a means of relaxing my mind, boosting me with positive energy, and blocking off any thoughts that might hinder my mental/spiritual health. Now, it's time to share my knowledge with others who need healing as well! This group will have 30 minute sessions, only $5 per person, at an outside space (most likely at a park) with peaceful zen music provided. It would also be great to keep each session at a fairly small group between 5 to 10 people. We will meet up on the left side of Rohr Park (opposite side of children's playground) in front of the bleachers next to the parking lot. Then we will decide on a specific spot to begin our meditation. **Please note that I am in no way a licensed meditation professional. I'm simply another average person willing to share the tools and knowledge for those who need it.
