Non-Standard Lit: Lessard & Quill
We invite you to a special reading for summer 2018 for Non-Standard Lit at Gym Standard, Sunday, July 8 at 5 pm, featuring two phenomenal readers: William Lessard and Liana Quill!
William Lessard is a writer and critic based in New York. His work has appeared in McSweeney’s, Brooklyn Rail, Hyperallergic, Prelude and PANK. It has also been featured at MoMA PS 1. With Mary Boo Anderson, he is editing the Brooklyn edition of the Cities project for Dostoyevsky Wannabe. He is poetry and hybrids editor at Heavy Feather Review.
Liana Quill’s second book of poetry, as a flock of goats was published in 2016 by Groundhog Poetry Press. Her first book, Fifty Poems, was selected by Dara Wier for the Mississippi Review Poetry Prize in 2010. Quill’s work has appeared in jubilat, 1913: a journal of forms, and blackbird, among others. She holds an MFA in Poetry from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and lives in San Diego.
