In commemoration of the Digital Gym Cinema’s 5th birthday, we are thrilled to announce a week-long series featuring 7 iconic films celebrating their own anniversaries in 2018. Influential, captivating, and endlessly rewatchable, our selection of films highlight significant genre trends, star-making performances, and form-altering technological advances throughout film history. Films include Sofia Coppola’s Tokyo set platonic romance “Lost in Translation,” Almodovar’s unforgettable comedy “Mujeres al borde de un ataque de nervios,” and the still-influential “The Red Shoes,” cinema’s greatest Technicolor visual feast, still as luminous as ever 70 years after its initial release.
