Artist Residency with Jason Hackenwerth at The New Children’s Museum

Join us at The New Children’s Museum as we celebrate our 10 year anniversary with Jason Hackenwerth. Hackenwerth will be our artist in residence in the Innovators LAB from January 7 – 15.
Crystal Cortex is his latest commission, which will hang in the museum’s atrium through April 2018. Museum visitors will be able to watch the sculpture, made from over 14,000 balloons, being built and slowly raised to hang in the large atrium. In addition, Hackenwerth will lead hands-on workshops for member families to introduce his practice. Come take a peek at our newest interactive art installation.
