An act of kindness by a Swedish benefactor transforms Chris Mburu’s education, leading him to make a difference in the lives of others. This documentary follows the development of Mburu’s scholarship program in Kenya, highlighting the rippling effect of a small act. Special features begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by film at 6 p.m. Stay afterward for a post-show discussion of the film. February selections reflect themes represented in the works of author Daniel Pink, who has been selected as the feature author for the Carlsbad Reads Together 2018 program.
