The Coronado Library will host the author Charles Schudson on Wednesday, December 5th at 6:30pm. With experience as both a trial and appellate judge, he knows the burdens on judges. His new book: Independence Corrupted: How America’s Judges Make their Decisions, takes readers behind the bench to probe judicial minds analyzing actual trials and sentencings. Judge Schudson graduated from Dartmouth College (Phi Beta Kappa), where he was a Senior Fellow, and from the Wisconsin Law School (Law Review). He served as a state and federal prosecutor, a Wisconsin Circuit Court Judge, a Wisconsin Court of Appeals Judge as well as General Counsel. The talk will be held in the Winn Room and will be followed by Q&A and a book signing reception.
