Take The Mystery Out of Planning For Your Future
The San Diego Planning Partnership, a nonprofit collaborative of trusted community organizations dedicated to removing the mystery of estate planning and long-term care options for everyone regardless of income or situation, will host a free two-day workshop at KPBS designed for participants to receive unbiased information and learn the language of estate and long-term care planning, as well as options for managing, preserving, and ultimately distributing an individual’s assets. End of life and incapacity decisions will also be discussed. The goal of the San Diego Planning Partnership is to increase the number of San Diego County adults who have their documents and future plans in order, lessening the need for court intervention when families are in the midst of a caregiving crisis. The two-day workshops are free to attend and led by professional volunteers/representatives of trusted nonprofits and community organizations, which include St. Paul’s Senior Services, The Salvation Army, KPBS, Amrine Law, and others. Participants are encouraged to attend both days. To pre-register visit sd-pp.org.
