Earth Day: A Reunion of Science & Religion

Veerabhadran Ramanathan, eminent climate scientist and advisor to Pope Francis, and the Rev. John Cobb Jr., environmentalist, author, and renowned theologian, will speak about uniting people throughout the world to help save the Earth from environmental catastrophe. People of all faiths and ages are welcome. The program includes interactive music with the Martin Luther King community choir, giant rod puppets, and ritual. Young people from many faith communities are making hand puppets for the event. At 6:00 the Sikh community will serve an Indian vegetarian dinner and there will be more music and dancing.
