TWO Beer Releases: Saison Du Canard & Wine Barrel-Aged Apricot Saison Du Canard This light, dry, Belgian Ale is the best of both traditional and modern brewing techniques with a base recipe that is true to the Belgian farmhouse Saison style and a Southern California flair. Last year's Apricot Saison has been resting in red wine oak barrels for 6+ months. We blended the barrel-aged version with this year's Saison du Canard for a beautiful marriage of flavors. The original yeast esters which gave us fruity and spicy character are joined by oak and red wine notes from the barrel, resulting in an interesting and unique complexity. Both beers available on tap for tastes and pours Friday April 13, Saison du Canard also available for growler fills.
