Taco Tuesday Takeover
Every Tuesday from 5pm until close, Galaxy Taco celebrates Taco Tuesday in a big way by inviting guest chefs, mixologists and artists into their restaurant to mix up the dinner menu for the evening. On Tuesday April 3, they'll be welcoming Billy Joyce, owner/chef of Surf Side Deli and Surf Side Cuisine and Kyle MacDonald, guitarist, bassist and vocalist of Slightly Stoopid. Chef Billy “Butter” Joyce has been working in the San Diego restaurant industry since he was 14 years old. Now considered an undisputed master of seasonal cooking, with 20 years of experience, he's brought a refined style to the kitchen at Surf Side, where he fuses coastal and Asian cuisine. Talented multi-instrumentalists, Kyle MacDonald started Slightly Stoopid, a fusion of acoustic rock and blues with reggae, hip-hop, and punk, with his friend Miles Doughty in Ocean Beach. The band has released seven albums, but remain a group devoted to the pursuit of the perfect mix of lifestyle and sound. See what happens when these two locals spin up tacos in the Galaxy kitchen.
