Choral Consortium: Beer Choir San Diego
The Choral Consortium of San Diego announces the launch of Beer Choir San Diego, an informal group of singers of all skill levels that meets to drink beer and make music while supporting San Diego’s craft beer community.
Choral Consortium President Carol Manifold said, “Singing in a group is one of the best things we can do for ourselves. Studies show it has social, mental, emotional, and physical benefits. The Choral Consortium of San Diego provides a number of programs for people with various skill levels, and we hope that Beer Choir San Diego entices people who may not currently sing in a choir to give it a try.”
Beer Choir San Diego’s inaugural gathering will be led and accompanied by Kenneth Martin. Participants will receive the San Diego edition of the Beer Choir Hymnal, which includes popular and historical drinking songs, sea shanties, and military tunes. Must be 21 or older. Talent not required. Tickets also sold at the door.
