Abstract Energies: Opening Reception
Artists Armando Alvarez Compean, Tania Alcala, and Kym De Los Reyes will show their work at The Gallery in Little Italy during the months of October to December. The Gallery is founded by the Tommy E. Short Charitable Foundation, a nonprofit foundation dedicated to the exploration of human potential and the advancement of sustainable living, seeking to advance children, the arts and the environment. This show is an explosion of color, taking form in the textured, layered look of Alvarez Compean’s huge images to Alcala’s jewel-colored, brightly hued paintings, to the energetic, vibrant style of De Los Reyes.
