Now in its 26th year, the San Diego Music Awards presents awards in over 20 categories. This year’s performers include Hirie, the Verigolds, Schizophonics, Steph Johnson, the Creepy Creeps, Gilbert Castellanos, and Black Market III. The show raises funds for Guitars for Schools in conjunction with El Cajon’s Taylor Guitars. Over the life of the program, 2978 guitars have been placed into 85 schools from Oceanside to San Ysidro.
