Rediscover San Diego and the Veterans Museum recall the human cost of WW I in the San Diego region with three back-to-back lectures by historians Alex Bevil ("San Diego and the Great War"), Steven Youel ("San Diego County Memorials in Brick, Bronze & Stone"), and Helen Ofield ("Earl Tooker: Gassed at 19 in WW One"). The event is part of marking the centennial of America's entry into WW I in 1917, the war that triggered the conflicts of the 20th and 21st Centuries.
