New Match Collective's comedy contronts issues women face in the modern age of dating. A diverse ensemble of five actresses recount stories in monologues and skits, most of which detail pnone app interactions on their journeys to find love. Simple staging with stools and minimal props keep the action moving. Voices of the small cast get swallowed up by the noise of World Beat Culture Center and at times the feminist message of empowerment preaches more than entertains. But intelligent observations and commentary on ridiculous norms of the online dating world offer humor and insight. Worth Watching.
