Nadiya Atkinson's piece explores the life and works of William Shakespeare. There is drama, heartache, and conjectures about the hetero- and possible homosexual undertones to the Bard's oeuvre. The pacing of the play is fine. The accoustics and the pillars in Centro Cultural de la Raza, however, present a problem. It's hard at times to hear what the actors are saying; plus the British accents not only don't ring true, they mush words. Will is Atkinson's Canyon Crest Academy senior thesis. It shows ability for the young, self-identified "Shakespeare nerd's" playwrighting.
