Join us in a pumpkin smash and compost party to celebrate soil, gardens, and community. Basic garden tools for smashing will be available but bring your favorite tool if you have one. Smash for fun or enter the smash contest. Soil sifting and compost demonstrations will be ongoing. Prizes are gift certificates to restaurants like Ironside Fish & Oyster Bar. Brought to you by Food2Soil, a collective of chefs, community gardens, and soil growers transforming waste into soil.
