Tiki Oasis
Tiki Oasis says it is the “largest and longest-running festival in the world for lovers of Island lifestyle and purveyors of Polynesian Pop.”
On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday we have the Tiki Art Show, with everything from carvings to oil paintings to ceramics to bring tiki to life.
Saturday and Sunday, it’s the Tiki Marketplace and Car Show. The marketplace features over 100 vendors with carvings, furniture, and tiki-themed pet products, with many of the items created especially for the event. At the car show fans of Polynesian Pop can enjoy all aspects of mid-century culture (especially vintage cars) along with vendors, food trucks, and live music.
On Sunday there’s a 1966 go-go style dance party with music from Les Grys-Grys (France), Los Sweepers (San Diego), and The Sound Reasons (L.A.), plus rare 45 RPM records from DJ Tony Tyger.
