Sparks Gallery, Alexander Salazar Fine Art, Art Produce, and The Studio Door are known for showcasing some of San Diego’s prominent visual artists. Though each gallery takes a different approach to how they operate their galleries, the owners and staff have come together to showcase gallery arts through a variety of programs in August.
The collaborating galleries will be presenting a free panel discussion to discuss the partnership between artist, gallery and patron; how contemporary galleries operate; and business practices of successful artists. Confirmed panelists include Jessica Amaya and Emily Knapp of Sparks Gallery; Alexander Salazar of Alexander Salazar Fine Art; Lynn Susholtz of Art Produce and Patric Stillman of The Studio Door.
