Sake Tasting
How often do you get the opportunity to experience a sake tasting with a certified sake master? East Village’s new eatery BeShock Ramen & Sake Bar is hosting its Monthly Sake Tasting event, led by co-founder and certified sake sensei Ayaka Ito. Whether you’re an aspiring sake aficionado or have no idea what sake is, the Sake Master will lead you through the tasting with everything on hand from traditional sake to Asian-infused margaritas.
This month: jerky and sake pairings featuring samples of Jonty Jacob’s high-quality biltong, dried beef made using 400-year-old traditional South African methods without any chemicals or additives. Guests will have access to an extensive menu of authentic Japanese cuisine including ramen, sushi, salads, rolls, and bowls.
