Adams Avenue Street Fair
Southern California’s largest free two-day music festival is held each year during the last weekend in September. The 35th annual event offers 70 musical acts on 9 stages plus beer gardens and beer tastings, carnival rides, food, and more than 350 arts and crafts booths.
Performances include a Manual Scan 40th anniversary show on the Casbah stage featuring Jason Hanna on trumpet and guests the Joyelles. Additional performers include Sebadoh, the Rugburns, the Wailing Souls, “Stray Cat” Lee Rocker, Kid Ramos & the 44s, HoneyHoney, Stranger, Steve Poltz, the Creepy Creeps, the Beat Farmers with Dave Alvin, Lisa Haley and the Zydecats, Mrs. Magician, the Sugaray Rayford Blues Band, Jungle Fire, B-Side Players, Skelpin, the Dave Scott Jazz Ensemble, Sue Palmer & Her Motel Swing Orchestra, the Bassics, Tomcat Courtney & the Bluesdusters, Juicebox, G Burns Jug Band, the Little Richards, Mrs. Henry, and Creature & the Woods.
Other performers include the Sleepwalkers, Kid Ramos, Honey Honey, Gregory Page, Sara Petite & the Sugar Daddys, Wild Wild Wets, Nina Francis, the Downs Family, Billy Watson, Jeff Berkley, Bass Clef Experiment, Bad Penny & the Pistols, Low Volts, Blue Largo, Bayou Brothers, Sure Fire Soul Ensemble, Backwater Blues Band, Roni Lee, Travis Larson Band, Subsurfer, and the Routine.
