Autumn Pizza Pie Making Class
What makes a great pizza crust? What cheeses melt best on pizza? Flour & Barley and Venissimo Cheese have not only teamed up to serve the Venissimo Autumn Pie, they have now announced a one-time-only class for pizza lovers to learn to create the pie themselves.
The Autumn Pie is a limited-time, seasonal fall pizza featuring one of the cheese shop’s tastiest cheeses -- Venissimo Raclette (a semi-hard cows milk cheese produced in Switzerland and France) and topped with red onion marmalade, grain mustard cream sauce, smoked bacon, butternut squash, roasted potato, and arugula. Guests will get a hands on pizza-making experience where they'll get to pick their own cheese, handle some crust, and bake their own pie while learning all about the history of pizza from the experts at Flour & Barley, plus the history of fromaggio from the mongers at Venissimo.
The class includes sampling oodles of cheese and pizza (naturally), a complimentary glass of wine in front of a fiery pizza oven and a 10% discount off any Venissimo Cheese in-store purchase the night of the class.
