Deborah Ziegler was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She holds a MA in Science Education and taught English and Science for 15 years. After retiring from her teaching career, Ziegler started a successful woman-owned engineering company. Currently she lives in California with her husband Gary and two cavipoos named Bogie and Bacall.
