“Business Interruptus,” the lead single from his new band and new album, You’re Doomed. Be Nice, could be a metaphor for Rob Crow’s recent life. With bill collectors at the door, a family to feed, and his popular Pinback on indefinite hiatus, Crow called it quits on his music gig for the straight life. Until this. A full band and album that not only meets his particular math-melodic bent, but on some songs (e.g., “Business Interruptus”) exceeds his pop-rock best.
