The event kicks off at 10 a.m. with community members going the extra nautical mile at a beach cleanup hosted by I Love a Clean San Diego. Then it’s a celebration on the beach until 2 p.m with complimentary tacos and guacamole, a beer garden, free surf and stand-up paddle boarding lessons, performances by the Mowglis and children’s band Hullaballoo, and a sea of games and educational activities.
