Merry Musical Improv & Toy Drive
The first part of Music Hall is an interactive set of fast-paced, audience-inspired musical improv games and scenes. Each piece relies on input from the audience as we literally make it all up on the spot, including the music and melodies. Next, we see a long-form improvised musical. From a single suggestion from our audience, theteam will create a never-before-seen musical on-the-spot! There will be big group numbers, solo and duo songs, and more. Finally, its your turn to get on stage and sing with the Old Town Improv Band as we improvise the music and you improvise the lyrics and melodies to songs that have never been written. The audience will write down titles of songs that don’t yet exist and each singer will pull one out of the box and read it out loud. The band will make up the music for that song from thin air and then the singer makes up the rest.We're making this unique show holiday themed and offering free admission to anyone who brings a new, unwrapped toy to the box office.
