The Philly born and bred psych-folk singer/songwriter Kurt Vile cut his teeth with the excellent War on Drugs band before finding his own voice and ever-growing audience. Last year’s b’lieve I’m goin’ down was a lean and clean (by Vile standards) take on his unique vision, which bleats like Dylan and Petty, bosses like the Boss, and sees, like Nick Drake, the humor in the mundane, that dreaming’s the thing.
