San Diego Film Festival
The San Diego Film Festival brings a new wave of international culture to San Diego to connect you to filmmakers, actors, critics, and storytellers plus studio premieres, award-winning indies, interviews with directors and actors, and the opportunity to meet other film lovers.
If you think the parties are fun, wait until you see the movies. The San Diego Film Festival is rapidly developing a reputation for premiering blockbuster films in San Diego. In 2013, the San Diego Film Festival premiered 12 Years a Slave, The German, and August: Osage County. Last year it was The Imitation Game and Whiplash, which were honored with four Oscar wins and 11 nominations, plus Wild, Mr. Turner, St. Vincent, The Good Lie, and more.
