Old Town’s Bazaar del Mundo will be transformed into a walkable trail of elaborately decorated alters during a three-day Dia de los Muertos celebration complete with traditional sugar skulls, handmade papier-mâché decorations, and special Day of the Dead-inspired clothing and crafts.
Children and families can enjoy a sugar-skull decorating class on Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. and face painting both days. Guest artists will be on site selling a variety of Day of the Dead-themed jewelry, accessories, prints, and more. Exotic sounds will be provided by Latin American folk group Tinku.
