Join the hosts, Carlsbad Friends of the Arts, for live music and refreshments for the opening of "The Original Art: Celebrating the Fine Art of Children's Book Illustration."
This traveling collection of 40 original works from the 2013 Original Art Exhibition of the Museum of American Illustration at the Society of Illustrators in New York City lets us appreciate the best children's illustrators in the field. Also featured are noted Southern California illustrators and authors.
