Adm. Len Hering will discuss national security and how it is affected by climate change. In 2005 the George W. Bush administration awarded him the Presidential Award for Leadership in Federal Energy Management. Today Adm. Hering is the Executive Director of the California Center for Sustainable Energy. As a military and sustainability leader, Adm. Hering (retired 33 years U.S. Navy) has a unique perspective to share.
