Featuring a fiction/poetry reading by local writers including Marisol Lee Benter, Shonna Gillis, Natalie Jacobs, and Sydney Brown. TRIPS will be performing originals and material from each of the members solo projects, including the entirety of Space Heat's debut EP, being released in early May. This is a BYO(blank)CD event, meaning bring a blank CD and we will swap it out for a copy of Space Heat "Happy Birthday EP" for free. Folk musician Fast Heart Mart opens. There will also be works from featured visual artists on display including pieces from Matt Bone, Frank Mindingall, and others. Bleeding Gold Records will be giving out records/cassettes to the first 100 guests.
