In an attempt to patch up an ill-timed break-up with her boyfriend, Elle, a ditzy and naive sorority girl, uses her beauty and surprising stash of brains to follow him to Harvard Law School. She meets quirky characters (including her ex-boyfriend's conservative new girlfriend!) and makes wonderful new friends along the way. When she gets involved in a high-stakes legal case, she realizes that law might be more than just a boy-ploy.
