Gardening 101 and Cooking Class
Join us as we explore the set up, design, and cultivation of a vegetable garden! Most of us have outdoor space in which we can grow some of our own, fresh vegetables, whether it’s a patio pot, or a large bed bursting with edible harvest. If you have considered delving into gardening, at any level, you will find the tips and advice in this class to be a helpful way to get started and to keep your garden growing for years to come.
This class will offer you the basics of how to create a garden in your space, while also helping you prepare the soil, choose the right fertilizers, and prevent weeding troubles. This class is open to all gardeners, regardless of experience.
We will also feature how to cultivate your own farm-to-table experience. We will focus on fresh, local produce to create some simple yet masterful dishes like Spicy Carrot and Sesame Greens, Raw Chocomole Pudding, Confetti Quinoa, Alkalizing Chop Chop Salad with Creamy Veggie Dressing, and Quenching Mint Smoothie.
