A salute to International Women's month.
Merging visual and performing genres, this project is a gift to all the beautiful women of San Diego! The showcase will highlight local and international professional dancers representing ballroom, modern, hip hop, capoeira, and cirque acts, all in the style of nouveau burlesque. Plus a samba show, bringing the spirit of Carnaval with live drums and spectacular dancers.
An antithesis to chippendales, this showcase is a rebellious statement against the conventional mediocrity of construction worker/cop/cowboy/captain fantasy overused by male revues.
